Kelsey

Client Services

Operations Coordinator

I'm Kelsey! I have a degree in Business Management with minors in Communications and Marketing. Outside of work, I love cooking, trying new recipes, and spending time with my cat, Charlie, who definitely keeps me on my toes and runs the house. I enjoy connecting with people, learning new things, and finding creative ways to make a difference in my community.

One of my favorite things about working at Discovery Education Station is all of the kind-hearted people I get to meet. Every day brings opportunities to connect with amazing families, children, volunteers, and community members who share a passion for helping others and creating positive experiences for those around them.

I am super excited to  run the Explorers Afterschool Program, Explorers Homeschool Program, our Mommy and Me Classes and Kanvas Kids Painting Classes. Sign your kids up and let them experience STEA2M! I also LOVE running birthday parties at Discovery!

Desi

Respite Care & Daily Skills Provider

Animal Ambassador Technician

Hi! I'm Desi, an animal technician of our Animal Ambassador Program at Discovery Education Station. One of my favorite parts of working here is caring for our amazing variety of animals—and guiding others to do the same. I also love the strong sense of family and teamwork among the staff; it truly makes this place special.

In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, spending time in nature, being with my family, and listening to music.

Julieta

Marketing Manager

Daily Living Skills Training Provider

Hi, my name is Julieta, and I’ve had the privilege of working at Discovery Education Station in various roles along my journey through medical school. From serving as a Site Supervisor and Provider to working as a Social Media Tech, each experience has shaped my vision of the world and filled me with hope for the future. Working with children through both the CLTS and IRIS programs has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

It’s been an honor to witness their growth and to be a part of their lives. Every day I’ve spent at Discovery has taught me so much more than I ever imagined. While I continue to work as the Social Media Tech, I know that no matter where life takes me, I will always carry Discovery and the incredible kids I’ve had the privilege to work with in my heart.

Volunteer

Hello! I'm Scott. I hold a Business degree from UW-Stevens Point and have a background in retail management, banking, and financial services. Before joining Discovery Education Station, I spent 19 years with the Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA.

I "discovered" Discovery in 2023, and it has been a true pleasure to work with both youth and adults who benefit from and thrive through our caregiving programs and supportive services.

Briana

Briana

Respite Care and Daily Living Skills Training Provider

I'm Briana, but everybody calls me Bri or TiTi. I'm an Army veteran, and I have a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I'm a mommy to one mini human and 3 furbabies; all 4 are my world.

When I first moved to Marshfield, I needed an after-school program for my nephew who lived with me at the time. I came across Discovery Education Station, and they helped make the transition so easy for him. Everyone was so patient and understanding of his needs. I had to be a part of this mission and help my community.

Alanha

Respite Care and Daily Living Skills Training Provider

Hi, I’m Alanha! Outside of work, I enjoy painting and drawing, and I have a special love for cows and anything outdoors, including four-wheeling, fishing, and camping. I also love spending time with my little brother, family, and friends.

My favorite part about working at Discovery Education Station is the people. Everyone here is so welcoming and kind, and I truly enjoy working with all of my clients. Discovery is becoming like a second home to me, and I really appreciate the positive environment and the way everyone works together to make each person feel comfortable, valued, and like they belong.

Our AMAZING Volunteers!

Kaylee

Hi! I’m Kaylee—animal lover, chaos wrangler, and proud caretaker of a tiny, lovable zoo. I take care of two sugar gliders, five chinchillas, two axolotls, one sketchy newt, an alarming number of goldfish, two angelfish, and Peter—my best friend, travel buddy, and the undeniable diva bunny of the squad. Peter’s basically famous. I’m just here to carry the snacks and clean up the fan mail.

At Discovery, I get to live my dream—talk about animals, make people laugh, and do what I love. It’s fun, meaningful, and occasionally fish-soaked. And I owe it all to one person:

Linda – The Boss Who Built Discovery (and Might Rule the Galaxy Next) 👑🐇⚔️

Linda didn’t “start” Discovery—she commanded it into existence using caffeine, chaos, and elite-grade sarcasm. She’s the general, the glue, and probably the reason we haven’t been overrun by goldfish (yet).

She leads with heart, humor, and a laugh that can either heal your soul or make you sprint depending on how much trouble you're in. She turns messes into memories and disasters into hilarious stories.

Working with her is like starring in a wholesome sitcom directed by a drill sergeant with glitter. If she ever runs for president? Peter’s her VP. And yes—I’d vote. Twice. Maybe three times.
